I was so busy trying to get things on track on my return yesterday from Philly that I
forgot to tell you that is a dynamite CD!!! One of the few I've heard done by locals that I think is truly First Rate Commercial quality and eminently salable.. The lady has an absolutely wonderful voice!!! Where did you find her???? And your comp is supurb: tasteful, very professional, and right on target !!! If you intend to market this disc and want a "liner note"comment...I'll be glad to volunteer one !! " Luke Capone
I was so pleased and impressed with the work that Shakila had done on this CD that I gave a copy to my friend Luke to see what he thought about it. When I didn't hear back from him I sent an email asking how he liked it. His response is printed below. Luke is no longer with us, but I was so touched by his comments that I felt compelled to share them. He is dearly missed as a musician and friend.
